My name is Ryan, and I'm the owner and operator of The Boat Wholesaler – Ontario's largest buyer and seller of used boats. Every boat we sell is hand-picked by me, backed by years of buying experience, deep market knowledge, and a reputation built on honesty and integrity.
We specialize exclusively in Ontario freshwater boats. The majority of our inventory is sourced locally through years of strong relationships and networking with Ontario boat dealers, often acquiring their trade-ins on new boats. This allows us to offer cleaner, better-condition boats than what is commonly found on the open market.
Every single boat we purchase is fully inspected, engine scanned, and serviced in-house by our licensed marine mechanic before being listed for sale. We stand behind what we sell.
Unlike many dealers who import boats from the United States, often from auctions, our focus remains on local, freshwater-only Ontario boats. These boats experience less corrosion, less UV damage, and less overall wear due to our climate and shorter boating season. The result is a better product, better longevity, and better value for our customers.

What started years ago with one boat in my backyard and a garden shed has grown into a 3-acre facility with a 6,500 sq. ft. workshop, a dedicated team, and often 50+ quality used boats in inventory. I'm especially proud that the original employees who started this journey with me are still here today. We have grown together as a team, and that consistency shows in the way we operate and in the experience we deliver to our customers.
